This is a temporary position starting 10/01 until 02/28. 40hrs a week, during business hours. Hybrid in Los Angeles or New York. Must have media agency experience with tech or gaming background.

Strategically leads day-to-day strategic work for client(s) Stays on the pulse of what is happening in category, culture and media to uncover opportunities that unlock a strategic advantage Guides how audiences will contribute to achieving the overall business goals Translates audience data into meaningful insights that unlock deeper consumer understanding Consistently monitors competitive activity to identify white space and unique ownable opportunities that break category norms Skillfully crafts a compelling strategic narrative that unlocks new opportunities for the brand Architects the comms framework that will guide media planning choices and measurement framework Identify the strategic role media can play in overcoming barriers along the customer journey; partner with teams to apply strategic media principles through planning and activation Leads/ facilitates brainstorms and ideation sessions that challenge teams to develop innovative media & comms solutions Closely partners with internal teams as well as media vendors and creative agency to ensure strategy is brought to life and delivers on goals Evaluates communication opportunities and provide sound recommendations as appropriate Contribute to agency thought leadership; provide proactive thought leadership outreach to clients Contribute to the strategic component of new business pitches Proactively seeks out opportunities to make the work better in a collaborative way Account Fit

Demonstrates mental agility to keep pace with fast speed of business – priorities change often and person must be able to flex outside their discipline to ensure storytelling is carried through Understanding of category dynamics (tech/gaming/AI) and able to pivot between B2C and B2B priorities Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree 7- 9 years in Communications Strategy or Strategic Media Planning, with a proven record of achievement and impact Understanding of multiple communications channels and their role in brand marketing Strong analytic skills – ability to translate data into insights Strategic thinking ability with balanced analytical and creative approach to holistic and tactical media planning Strong storytelling skills and ability to communicate ideas and plans effectively – both verbally and visually Experience managing client relationships and working collaboratively across teams and organizations Commitment to delivering creative media solutions and award winning work Strong presentation and communication skills (both verbal and written) Strong team feedback (direct reports and collaborative team partners) Comfortable participating in business development activities, including agency pitches Experience with syndicated research and social listening tools, for example: GWI, Netbase, Simmons/MRI, Kantar, Mintel The hourly pay range for this position is $45.19 - $73.08. The hourly pay rate for the successful candidate is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law. Temporary employees are eligible for paid holidays in accordance with dentsu policy, as well as safe and sick time. This position is not eligible for any other benefits or other compensation.
