Position Summary The Chief Financial Officer will provide executive oversight of accounting, finance, treasury, reporting, and risk management functions. This role requires deep knowledge of banking regulations, capital adequacy standards, and financial governance. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in financial leadership within a large-scale bank or comparable financial services organization.

Key Responsibilities

Lead financial strategy, planning, and execution in alignment with the institution’s long-term objectives.

Oversee accounting, treasury, regulatory reporting, budgeting, and asset-liability management functions.

Ensure compliance with applicable banking and financial regulations, including reporting to federal and state regulatory agencies.

Partner with executive leadership to evaluate growth opportunities, mergers and acquisitions, and capital markets activities.

Manage relationships with regulators, auditors, rating agencies, and other external stakeholders.

Establish and maintain strong internal financial controls and risk management frameworks.

Deliver timely, accurate, and transparent financial statements and performance reporting.

Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team.

Drive efficiency and innovation across financial systems, reporting, and operational processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required; MBA or CPA preferred.

15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role within banking or financial services of comparable size and scope.

Proven expertise in treasury, capital management, asset-liability management, and regulatory compliance.

Strong track record of working with federal and state banking regulators.

Demonstrated success leading finance functions through periods of growth, change, or transformation.

Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
