Job Details This is a permanent position that provides an exciting opportunity to contribute your expertise in family law to a thriving practice. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, domestic violence, adoption, and more. The ideal candidate will have a passion for family law, a commitment to client service, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive legal advice and strategy to clients on a variety of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, domestic violence, adoption, and more. Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including pleadings, motions, orders, agreements, and other legal documents. Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development. Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure effective case management. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and legal trends affecting family law practice. Provide compassionate and empathetic support to clients during difficult times. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and excellent service. Participate in business development activities, including networking events, seminars, and professional associations. Qualifications
Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school. Current license to practice law in WA. A minimum of 3 years of experience practicing family law. Proven experience in handling a diverse caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, domestic violence, adoption, and more. Excellent legal research and writing skills. Strong negotiation and advocacy skills. Ability to provide compassionate and empathetic support to clients. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, court personnel, and other members of the legal community. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
