Acara Solutions has been providing staffing services to aerospace firms for over 65 years. Our Prescott, AZ aerospace electronics manufacturer has a Manufacturing Engineer opening.
This is a salaried direct onsite position in Prescott, AZ . Salary is very open with a target of $140K - $150K+. Relocation bonus available.
This position requires PCBA design, assembly, and fabrication experience. Aerospace or satellite experience preferred.

Problem solving of assembly, test and equipment issues on aircraft radio and audio systems.
Support productivity improvements in an aftermarket repair station environment.
Experience with continuous improvement approaches (DMAIC, PDCA, Six Sigma), work instructions, service instructions, part obsolescence, tooling & fixture design, and test equipment specifications.
Demonstrate high-level knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and multiple manufacturing systems.
Required Skills / Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or Electronics Technology or similar with PCBA experience).
Minimum 6 years of PCBA fabrication and PCBA assembly, PCB design, and component selection.
Minimum 3 years of electronics manufacturing engineering experience, including knowledge of:
Product, test equipment and fixture design (highly desired)
J-STD-001, IPC-A-610 soldering and assembly standards
Measurement tools; ability to read electronic schematics and PCB assembly drawings
DMAIC, PDCA, Six Sigma knowledge
Minimum 5 years in Continuous Improvement involvement (Six Sigma training and/or certification highly preferred).
ITAR facility; U.S. Persons required (Green Card ok).
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge/exposure to AS9100, FAA and ISO standards
RF experience
LabVIEW
Experience in FAA Part 145 repair station environment is a plus
Knowledge and use of 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks
