The Talent Network Coordinator is a key member of the adult education and workforce team, responsible for building employer relationships and connecting adult education learners to quality work-based learning and employment opportunities. This position emphasizes direct employer engagement to inform workforce-aligned career exploration, training, and job placement activities. The coordinator also supports adult learners with job readiness, career planning, and connections to postsecondary and career pathways. Essential Functions Establishes and maintains collaborative partnerships with employers and community-based organizations in targeted industries; identifies and coordinates job placement opportunities, apprenticeships, internships, job shadows, and direct hire pathways for adult learners; articulates employer needs and hiring trends to inform program development and learner preparation; participates in employer and industry events to represent the college and promote student talent pipelines; gathers labor market insights and employer feedback to align adult education programs with in-demand skills and credentials. Supports learners with individualized and group-based career services including mock interviews, resume development, job search strategies, and application support; provides career exploration and job search tools tailored to learners' language, literacy, and digital fluency levels; connects students with employment opportunities based on career interests and skills; informs students of necessary upskilling and credentialing to access targeted occupations. Collaborates closely with the career coordinator and college and career navigators to ensure wraparound support; tracks and reports student engagement, job placement, and employer partnerships in accordance with grant and programmatic requirements; supports continuous improvement by gathering data and reporting outcomes aligned to performance indicators. Stays current on state and federal regulations related to employment and workforce development; ensures program compliance by updating printed flyers, website information, and other materials shared internally and externally; participates in ongoing departmental training and cross-training activities to understand the college programs, policies, procedures, resources, and services available to students; performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in business administration, education or related field and one year of experience in workforce training, vocational training and/or economic development. OR An equivalent combination of a conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience sufficient to perform the essential duties, as described above, may be considered. Desired Qualifications Two (2) years or more of experience working with business, industry, employers and/or the public workforce system regarding workforce and economic development Two (2) years or more of experience working with adult learners, English language learners, or nontraditional students Two (2) years or more of experience in employment recruiting, job placement, and/or career services Two (2) years or more of experience researching local labor market trends and implementing solutions and best practices Two (2) years or more of experience analyzing, evaluating, and summarizing statistical data

Special Working Conditions

The primary work location is: RSC Tempe: 2323 W. 14th Street., Tempe, AZ 85281. May require occasional work at other college sites and some local travel. Additional locations include: RSC Avondale, RSC Northern, RSC Southern, RSC Surprise, RSC Thomas, RSC at Glendale Community College, RSC at South Mountain Community College. How to Apply
