Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in digital transformation and business process reengineering. Key Responsibilities
Lead Digital Transformation: Spearhead and significantly contribute to large-scale digital transformation initiatives, identifying opportunities for innovation and designing future-state business capabilities that leverage emerging technologies to achieve strategic organizational goals. Business Process Reengineering (BPR): Conduct comprehensive analysis of current-state business processes, identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and pain points, and design optimized, streamlined future-state processes. Lead efforts to implement reengineered processes, ensuring smooth transitions and measurable improvements in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service quality. Strategic Business Modeling: Develop and maintain robust business architecture artifacts, including current and future state business process models (using BPMN), data models, capability models, value streams, and organizational models. Utilize various modeling tools and notations to effectively communicate complex business concepts to diverse audiences. Stakeholder Engagement & Requirements Definition: Collaborate extensively with senior leadership, business units, IT teams, and external partners to elicit, analyze, and validate complex business requirements. Translate strategic objectives and user needs into actionable business and functional specifications that guide solution development. Bridge Business & IT: Act as a critical liaison, ensuring seamless communication and understanding between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams. Articulate business impacts of technical decisions and technical implications of business requirements. Qualifications
Required : 12+ years of progressive experience in a Business Architect role or similar strategic capacity, with a strong emphasis on enterprise-level initiatives. Required : Proven track record of leading or significantly contributing to multiple large-scale digital transformation and business process reengineering projects, with measurable improvements in operational efficiency. Required : Demonstrable expertise with MITA (Medicaid Information Technology Architecture), including practical application in complex system environments. Experience with MITA State Self-Assessments (SS-A) is highly desirable. Required : Exceptional business modeling skills with proficiency in BPMN, UML, ArchiMate, and understanding of TOGAF or similar frameworks. Required : Superior analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities; excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills for diverse stakeholders. Required : Strong Negotiation, Facilitation, and Conflict Resolution Skills. Required : Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Masters degree preferred. Required : Demonstrated ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical groups on complex business problems; strong oral and written communications. Preferred : Direct, hands-on experience with Health and Human Services (HHS) integrated eligibility systems (e.g., Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, CHIP) and familiarity with federal regulations and state policy nuances. Preferred : Experience in government or public sector environments. Preferred : Certifications such as CBAP, TOGAF, BPMN, Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
