Atlanta, GA (Hybrid) Duration:
6+ Months Contract to Hire Responsibilities
Maintain, upgrade and administer Oracle EBS instances on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure using automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Jenkins). Optimize database performance to ensure high availability and reliability. Perform backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning using RMAN and other tools. Troubleshoot database-related issues in collaboration with application and infrastructure teams. Performance tuning and optimization: identify and resolve bottlenecks using AWR, ADDM, and SQL Tuning Advisor; optimize SQL queries and indexing strategies; implement partitioning, compression, and related techniques. Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 25 years of experience as an Oracle DBA in enterprise environments. Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning techniques. Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for monitoring and administration. Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Master (OCM) are a plus. Preferred Skills
Experience with Ansible or Terraform for database automation. Exposure to NoSQL or other RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL) is an advantage. Exposure to Python is a plus. Employment details
