Job Summary: In addition to the responsibilities listed below, this position directs the development of enterprise-wide Interiors and Brand Standards, initiatives, and programs to create a consistent member experience. It includes directing research, development, and implementation of interiors/brand tools, templates, and training; evolving Interiors and Brand Standards in response to industry trends and innovations to enhance wellness, productivity, and member satisfaction; ongoing refinement, simplification and cost-containment of Interiors and Brand components and programs; review of diverse and complex projects at key milestones for Interiors and Brand alignment; providing Interiors and Brand expertise within the department and as an advisor to enterprise-wide teams, regions, and consultants; and directing specialized interior design knowledge for lighting, finishes, furnishings, finishes, wall/floor systems, environmental graphics, signage, safety, ergonomics, technology, infection prevention and maintenance. It also includes developing experience assessment tools, training materials, and strategies for furniture, finishes, artwork, and graphics; fostering partnerships with vendor relationships; and coordinating brand alignment with Marketing and other departments. Compliance with industry and regulatory standards and incorporation of post-occupancy learnings are also included. Responsibilities
Prepares individuals for growth opportunities and advancement; builds internal collaborative networks; solicits and acts on performance feedback; drives collaboration to set goals and provide coaching to foster performance improvement. Oversees recruitment, selection, and development of talent; ensures performance management guidelines and industry trends are shared across teams. Motivates and empowers teams and maintains an engaged workforce by aligning resource plans with business objectives. Oversees operation of multiple units within a department; translates business strategy into actionable requirements; ensures products/services meet member requirements while aligning with organizational strategies. Secures cross-functional support, sets standards, measures progress, and resolves escalated issues. Analyzes resources and costs, prioritizes and distributes resources, and develops contingency plans. Oversees consultations with planning and design; designs industry-leading solutions to complex problems; partners with executive management; serves as internal subject matter expert to senior management in National Facilities Services (NFS) and KP; acts as external spokesperson to regional stakeholders; develops advanced strategies for guidance and management of the support teams area of expertise. Directs or influences NFS program deliverables; manages complex program initiatives from initiation to close-out; reviews performance across a portfolio of projects; develops processes for organizational change management (user adoption, implementation, training). Contributes to consultant relationship management; develops strategies and coordinates project supervision; ensures vendor management standards and performance; gathers research on healthcare facility industry and codes; drives vendor performance analytics and regional initiatives. Addresses compliance and required corrections; defines the vision of enterprise facilities design standards development to ensure quality solutions. Minimum Qualifications
Minimum two (2) years of experience managing operational or project budgets. Minimum three (3) years of experience in a leadership role with direct reports. Minimum five (5) years experience implementing large, complex projects in a corporate, non-profit, or government environment. Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Structural, etc.), Planning, Interior Design, Construction Management, Cost Estimating, or related field AND minimum twelve (12) years of related experience OR minimum fifteen (15) years of related experience.
