What you need to know Lead business development within the assigned geographic territory to meet organizational revenue goals and diversify donor support. Conduct ongoing analysis of prospects within the territory and refine the prospect/donor selection and cultivation process. This is a divisional role covering the Southwest and Rocky Mountain division. Preference will be given to candidates residing in Dallas, TX or Austin, TX (or surrounding areas) with 25-40% travel across the region, division, and other potential locations. (Key Responsibilities): Key Responsibilities
Implement overall fundraising strategy managing the assigned donor portfolio to maximize revenue growth and engage donors in the mission. Portfolios typically include complex donor solicitation of corporations with 7-figure+ donor capacity. Ultimately, transition accounts to relationship managers for ongoing cultivation, stewardship and solicitation after programmatic support has been established. Develop and execute strategies to grow revenue from primarily corporate accounts with significant capacity. Develop strategies to identify and leverage relationships with C-suite contacts. Secure meetings, make presentations, prepare proposals, and directly solicit to cultivate and grow relationships. Work collaboratively with other departments and partner with development staff at the national and/or regional offices to prepare presentations and proposals matching donor/prospect objectives. Compile and analyze data about accounts in portfolio for solicitation strategy. Standard Schedule: 100% remote with a strong preference for candidates in Dallas, TX or Austin, TX; role is not eligible for relocation. Pay Information: The salary range for this position is $106,000-$130,000. What you need to succeed Education: Bachelor\'s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required. Experience: Minimum 7 years of fundraising, sales, or marketing experience in a large organization or equivalent combination of education and related experience required. Skills & Abilities: Valid driver\'s license and good driving record required. Proven ability to identify and solicit large revenue accounts. Excellent organizational, collaborative, analytical, and presentation skills. Strong project management, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
