Overview

Manufacturing Software Engineer, Teamcenter Castelion is seeking a high performing PLM and Manufacturing Software Engineer to lead the architecture, implementation, and maintenance of PLM across engineering, manufacturing and supply chain. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting, configuring, and enhancing Teamcenter (Siemens PLM) and other manufacturing software applications, ensuring seamless integration across multiple engineering and manufacturing systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Teamcenter administration, customization, and integration, as well as a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and software tools. Key Responsibilities

Teamcenter Administration and Configuration

Install, configure, and maintain Teamcenter PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems. Customize Teamcenter workflows, data models, and templates to meet specific organizational needs. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Teamcenter users, resolving system issues and ensuring optimal system performance.

Manufacturing Software Integration

Integrate Teamcenter with other manufacturing systems such as ERP, MES, CAD, and CAM tools. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth data exchange between Teamcenter and other software solutions. Develop and implement automation processes for improving manufacturing efficiency and data flow.

Software Development & Customization

Write custom code and scripts (using languages such as Java, C++, or PL/SQL) to extend the functionality of Teamcenter and manufacturing applications. Develop and implement custom applications or tools that enhance manufacturing operations, ensuring they align with industry standards. Work with engineering and IT teams to gather and define software requirements based on manufacturing needs. Train end-users on best practices and provide documentation to ensure smooth adoption of new tools and processes. Support data migration, upgrades, and system optimization as needed.

Testing & Quality Assurance

Perform rigorous testing of Teamcenter and manufacturing software systems to ensure functionality and reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software integration and manufacturing process flows. Stay up to date with the latest developments in PLM, Teamcenter, and manufacturing software technologies. Proactively identify opportunities for system improvements, software upgrades, and new tool adoption to enhance business processes.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Masters degree or advanced certifications (such as Siemens Teamcenter certification) is a plus. Experience

3+ years of experience with Siemens Teamcenter, including administration, customization, and integration. Hands-on experience with manufacturing software such as ERP (e.g., SAP), MES, and CAD/CAM tools. Strong knowledge of software development, database management, and system integration. Technical Skills

Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python. Experience with database systems like Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL. Familiarity with Teamcenter ITK (Integration Toolkit), BMIDE (Business Modeler IDE), and other relevant tools. Understanding of manufacturing processes, product lifecycle management, and MES systems. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Additional Requirements

Must be willing to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed. Must be able to travel up to 10%. All employees are granted long-term stock incentives as part of employment.
