National and international required up to two times per year to attend industry seminars. What You Will Do Execute objectives for requirements management, reliability, logistics, coordination of different teams, evaluation measurements, and other disciplines for large or complex projects. Monitor the cost, effectiveness, and reliability of activities and recommend modifications to optimize resources, prioritize spending, and ensure that standards are met. Research and evaluate investments or changes in technology, resources, procedures, equipment, systems, or other assets to improve the quality of the organizations systems products and services. Provide analysis for the decomposition of customer specifications and system level requirements into sub-system and piece part requirements, and develop verification criteria and plans for the requirements. Perform analysis at all levels of the total system product including concept, design, fabrication, modeling, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Consider and evaluate alternatives accounting for similar metrics. Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Perform architectural exploration. Decompose customer specifications and system level requirements into sub-system and piece part requirements, and generate verification criteria and plans for the requirements.

Qualifications You Must Have

Must possess at least a bachelors degree or its equivalent in Systems Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Avionics Engineering or a related field and at least 8 years of progressive experience as a Systems Engineer in the avionics industry. In the alternative, at least a masters degree or its equivalent in Systems Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Avionics Engineering or a related field and at least 5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer in the avionics industry would be acceptable. Must possess at least 5 years of experience with the use and application of systems engineering principles and techniques. Must possess at least 5 years of performing hardware testing, integration, and troubleshooting in support of fielded products. Must possess at least 5 years of experience with safety critical product development for the Avionics domain. Must possess at least 5 years of experience with analysis of systems of high complexity, such as systems with multiple sub-systems with multiple hardware components or mixed electrical technologies and software programs. Must possess at least 5 years of experience with Systems requirements development, analysis, and decomposition. Must possess at least 2 years of experience analyzing and developing Systems Architecture and must possess at least 2 years of experience with agile development processes; and must possess demonstrable knowledge of RTCA DO-160, DO-178, DO-254, and DO-297.
