Overview
The Program Manager of Green ReEntry leads the development, implementation, and expansion of IMAN Atlantas Green ReEntry initiatives. This role oversees vocational training programs, maintains key partnerships, and supervises case management and wraparound support services for participant leaders, including returning citizens, migrants, and system-impacted youth. Base pay range
$68,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the Green ReEntry (GRE) program to ensure effective delivery of services and training. Manage participant enrollment, individualized case planning, and cohort progress tracking. Convene and coordinate training providers, community partners, and mentors to support program goals. Supervise GRE support staff, instructors, and volunteers to ensure alignment with program standards. Track and report program outcomes, milestones, and key performance indicators. Facilitate the integration of GRE participants into broader organizational events, initiatives, and opportunities. Write grant proposals and reports; ensure compliance with all funder and partner requirements. Develop, implement, and continuously improve the GRE curriculum to meet participant and workforce development needs. Collaborate with IMANs other departments to provide holistic support for participants. Develop and manage program budgets in collaboration with the operations and finance teams. Represent the program at community events, coalition meetings, and conferences to increase visibility and build partnerships. Support alumni engagement by developing pathways for leadership development, peer mentoring, or advanced training. Ensure trauma-informed and culturally competent practices are embedded throughout the program. Support crisis intervention efforts in collaboration with case managers and partner organizations as needed.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Social Work, Workforce Development, Criminal Justice, Public Administration, Education, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). 35 years of experience in Program Management, Workforce Development, Reentry Services, or related fields. 2+ years of experience supervising staff, including setting performance expectations, addressing sensitive personnel matters, and conducting regular performance evaluations. 2+ years of experience managing budgets and tracking expenditures, including creating and maintaining spreadsheets, reconciling budgets, and preparing expense reports. Proven experience working with system-impacted populations, including returning citizens, migrants, or justice-involved youth. Demonstrated ability to manage staff, instructors, volunteers, and external partners effectively. Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Forms, Drive) and familiarity with case management or program tracking systems. Demonstrated project management skills. Commitment to restorative justice, equity, and trauma-informed practices.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing grant-funded programs, including compliance, reporting, and meeting performance benchmarks. Lived experience or deep understanding of the reentry process and its challenges.
Physical Requirements And Working Environment
Ability to remain in a stationary position (e.g., at a desk or computer) for extended periods. Ability to travel locally for site visits, meetings, and community engagement (must have reliable transportation). Occasional lifting or moving of materials or equipment up to 25 lbs (e.g., event setup, supply transport). Comfortable working in both office and field environments, including non-traditional workspaces.
