The User Interface (UI) Web Designer is responsible for the conception, creation, and execution of company online and digital assets. This role requires expertise in the latest digital design trends and user-centered design, with experience in maintaining a master brand. The designer applies the brand and identity platform consistently, collaborates with the Integrated Marketing team, and ensures Company Values are reflected in departmental operations. Key Responsibilities
Perform all user interface designs for digital assets, including internal intranet sites, internet sites, personal health record applications, and mobile applications. Meticulously review and prepare files for print or online posting. Handle corrections quickly and efficiently. Maintain the integrity of the brand identity program. Stay updated with current web-design software and hardware. Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree in graphic design, computer science, or related field. 8+ years of UI Web Design experience using common Web development tools and programs, such as HTML, CSS, XML, Dreamweaver, Flash, and content management software. Experience in developing online graphics, ads, HTML email, and animations. Experience in designing HTML-based communications. Portfolio demonstrating a range of work including interface, digital advertising, responsive, print, and web design. Certification: Graphic design or UI/UX design certification. Skills and Abilities
Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and Web Design/Layout. Experience with HTML, video, flash, content management systems, and copy-editing. Ability to adapt to the fluidity of the industry, recognizing and responding to evolving needs. Self-starter who can work independently when necessary. Excellent design skills and a strong sense of corporate brand and visual identity. Problem-solving attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Meticulous attention to detail. Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position is $50 to $70 hourly. Actual pay will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs, and will be set by your employer. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
