**Solution Architect -** **Description:** **Work Location: Dallas or Miramar** **Onsite Requirements: Hybrid (12 days per month in office policy)** **Contract to Hire** **Skill sets:** Experience with cloud platforms **(Azure, AWS), microservices architectures, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes (GitHub/GitHub Actions).** Deep understanding of both client-side and server-side technologies, including **React**, React **Native**, **JavaScript**, **GraphQL**, **Apollo**, **Java** (**with** **Spring**), **Node**.**js**, and familiarity with Azure services like **Azure** **Redis**, **Azure** **Cosmos** **DB**, and **Azure** **Kubernetes** **Service**. Experience in working with **CRM**, **CMS**, and **Commerce** **platforms** (i.e., **Salesforce**.com, **Adobe**, **Hybris**) Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Commitment to staying current with industry developments and bringing innovative ideas to the table. Ability to create comprehensive architecture artifacts that document design decisions, system interactions, and project roadmaps. **Overview** Core focus is a sustainable technical architecture, and the role is responsible for the design of one or more end-to-end solutions, a product or a business or IT service. Works closely with cross functional business and technical teams. The individual has a balanced mix of technical and very strong business skills, working with an enterprise architect for strategic direction. The individual leads the overall technical vision for a particular platform (across all modules) or solution(s) to provide a business product or a business/IT service. The individual can make technical decisions regarding a solution, and how the technology design impacts business outcomes. The development or infrastructure teams use the information to implement the solution to meet business outcomes. The individual has very strong Director level leadership and behavior competencies. **Duties and Responsibilities** Deliver appropriate solutions across application or infrastructure platforms Assist Enterprise Architects in defining enterprise vision Define and enforce application development standards across the enterprise Ensure solutions designed adhere to enterprise architecture standards Stay up to date on platform, infrastructure/application development technologies and capabilities Expert in application development, database design, and/or platform (operating system) efforts, helping project teams comply with enterprise policies, industry regulations, and best practices. Work with Enterprise Architects to ensure solutions are in place throughout all IT systems and platforms to mitigate identified risks sufficiently, and to meet business objectives and regulatory requirements. Communicate risks and solutions to cross-functional key stakeholders Research, design, and advocate new technologies, architectures, and products that will support business and IT requirements for the enterprise and its customers, business partners, and vendors. Evaluate and develop application-level architectures for application development Develop, in concert with Application Architects, a reliable, top performing, and cost-effective platform architecture. Lead the development and maintenance of the [platform strategy and architecture Organize the development effort Provide motivation and guidance to the entire development team during the systems development life cycle. Responsible for the vision that underlies the solution and the execution of that vision into the solution Looks after the programming, integration, and testing of software systems and associated devices Select the most appropriate technology for a problem and involve balancing architectural concerns of the project with the concerns of the enterprise. ** Responsible for:** o how technology can be used to solve a given business problem o which framework, platform, or tech-stack can be used to create a solution o how the application will look, what the modules will be, and how they interact with each other o how things will scale for the future and how they will be maintained o figuring out the risk in third-party frameworks/platforms o finding a solution to a business problem o the sustainability of a solution **M** **Duties and Responsibilities:** - **System Configuration and Design**:Configure and design systems to meet **business needs**. Understand emerging technologies and identify opportunities to **automate** and **standardize business processes**. Assist with educating the **IT team** on the goals of the business. Facilitate communication and alignment between functions and IT from the gathering of initial requirements to final implementation. - **Documentation and Training**:Develop **business and technical process documentation** and **training materials**. Apply system solutions to business requirements through the design and configuration of systems platforms such as **ECC** and **Salesforce** and integrated applications. - **Interaction and Service**:Interact with **processing teams**, **vendors**, and other teams and systems integrated with systems platforms. Assist subject matter experts with **gap analysis**, **process definition**, and **system enhancements**. Provide high-level service for **break-fix incidents** and requests. - **Data Management**:Responsible for **data migration**, **archiving**, and **reconciliation** as needed. Work on multiple tasks or projects of medium size complexity. - **Leadership and Mentorship**:Act as a **subject matter expert** and coach more junior staff. Perform code review to ensure standards are adhered to. Mentor in coding best practices, configuration best practices, technical design, and quality assurance. - **Solution Development**:Collect required information to develop work scope around solutions to meet customer requirements. Communicate systems and procedural changes to end users through excellent **written and oral communications**. Lead small work components related to projects. - **Assessment and Problem-Solving**:Assess situations, determine the problem(s), and propose solutions that provide value to the business. Support and sometimes drive the definition of project requirements by identifying **project milestones**, **phases**, and **elements**. Assist with project budget needs. Monitor project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending actions as directed. - **Requirements Documentation**:Gather and document business requirements in **business requirements documents (BRD)**. Convert BRD to **functional specifications** according to the platform being configured. - **Team Collaboration**:Establish and maintain relationships with team members within IT and across functional teams. Understand, communicate, and reinforce standard business process concepts. Determine opportunities to **redesign business processes** to achieve better business results. **Preferred Qualifications:** - **Master's Degree** - Experience in systems development lifecycle models such as **Agile** or other traditional project management principles.
