Role Overview

The Senior Data Analyst in EIT is responsible for providing data and analysis needed to inform key decisions and actions addressing risk across the Bank. The role requires close partnership with key stakeholders to understand processes, technology infrastructure, data and controls to ensure accuracy and validity of information.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Turning data into insights and presenting large data sets in a visually insightful way for an executive audience.

  • Compiling and organizing data regarding issues or business processes needing improvement.

  • Transforming large datasets to identify patterns and summarize insights to identify strengths and weaknesses.

  • Designing and developing analytics models, algorithms and analysis.

  • Collaborating with key stakeholders and SLT to understand business needs.

  • Providing data needs at various levels for end users.

Required Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in fields including but not limited to Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Process and Mechanical Engineering, Operations Research, Data Science, Accounting, Business Administration.

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience.

  • Experience with various data storage solutions and understanding of efficient usage

  • Mastery of Python and Tableau

  • Experience with machine learning

General Job Description

Responsible for performing data management, complex analysis, and modeling to maximize profits and asset growth, and to minimize credit and operating losses and other risk exposures. Provides data/ information management and analytical support on product strategies to meet company goals. Coordinates the production of databases and performance reports for senior management. Analyzes trends in current population distributions and recommends strategies. Develops more complex databases and program models to extract data and use databases for statistical and financial modeling. Oversees data design and portfolio trend analysis, including credit score cutoffs, loss trends, portfolio dynamics, and bureau scoring criteria. Integrates the analysis team with other corporate units to align analysis with business strategies and objectives. May involve hiring and training risk analysts. PhD, Master’s degree, or large data experience preferred; programming experience (SQL, SAS) preferred; 7+ years’ experience.

Pay Transparency Details

Location: US - NJ - Pennington - 1600 American Blvd - Hopewell Bldg 6 (NJ2600)

Pay range: $114,500.00 - $173,100.00 annualized salary. Offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set. Discretionary incentive eligible. This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Benefits: This role is currently benefits eligible.
