Overview
The Field Sales Director will lead and manage a high-performing team of Account Executives across designated territories. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and fostering strategic customer relationships. As a player-coach, the Field Sales Director will actively participate in sales activities while mentoring the team to exceed performance goals. Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Executives to achieve and exceed sales targets. Design and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company goals and market dynamics. Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic accounts, including C-level stakeholders. Partner with marketing, services, and customer support to deliver integrated solutions. Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline visibility using CRM tools. Strengthen relationships with OEMs and channel partners to unlock new opportunities. Travel up to 50% to support team members, attend customer meetings, and represent the company at industry events. Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (Masters preferred). Minimum 5 years of experience in sales leadership, preferably in technology or enterprise sales. Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and managing successful sales teams. Strong understanding of sales cycles in public sector, education, or enterprise markets. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms. Preferred Attributes
