The role focuses on leveraging SAP Asset Management/Plant Maintenance capabilities to enhance client operations and deliver effective system architecture solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Interact with business stakeholders to gather requirements and evaluate business models and processes.
Analyze newly implemented technology solutions to verify they meet business requirements.
Collaborate with technical teams to design and deliver system architecture solutions.
Facilitate requirements gathering and lead design workshops; document functional specifications; assist clients in testing cycles; deliver training prior to go-live; and provide post go-live support.
Stay current with annual releases of SAP Asset Management (Plant Maintenance) functionalities.
Collaborate across workstreams (procurement, project systems, finance, quality management, production, materials management, warehouse management, supply chain, IBP) to design, test, and deploy SAP solutions.
Skills And Attributes For Success
Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in defining and analyzing technology business requirements.
Experience in system configuration design and cost-benefit analysis.
Ability to manage client relationships and communicate effectively.
Experience translating requirements into business solutions and managing configurations and integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
Typically 2 - 4 years of experience with SAP Asset Management/PM/EAM.
Strong technical skills in application functional design.
Strong understanding of asset management principles and practices.
Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service, and technical writing skills.
Expertise in technology business requirements definition, analysis, and mapping.
Ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies.
Flexibility and willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel estimated at 40-60%.
Ideally, you’ll also have
Prior consulting industry experience or deep functional experience.
SAP Certification(s).
Experience in industries such as manufacturing, utilities, mining and metal, or oil and gas (energy).
Experience with at least one full cycle implementation of SAP asset management.
Experience with additional licensed SAP/3rd party tools listed, such as SAP service and asset management (mobility), SAP field service management, SAP RSH, SAP asset performance management, etc.
