Overview The Executive Director shall ensure that Shiloh provides a safe, gospel-focused camping experience where campers of a variety of ages are taught the gospel, discipled, and given a chance to retreat from the distractions of the world. Responsibilities

Communicate and work with the Board of Directors to fulfill the camp’s strategic direction. Be responsible for overseeing a variety of camping programs throughout the year, each suited for varying ages and audiences of campers. These should include an emphasis on discipleship programs such as Christians in Training (CiT) and internships. Recruit, develop, encourage, and give direction to full-time staff and volunteers. Equip and train them to do the work of the ministry, by communicating expectations and goals, performing leadership and supervisory duties. Regularly check in with staff and volunteers, soliciting feedback on Shiloh’s state and direction, as well as individual workloads and needs. Build and maintain a cohesive culture that promotes Shiloh’s mission. Be an active representative of Shiloh Bible Camp to its staff, volunteers, campers, renters, donors and supporting churches. Be responsible for the planning, organization and execution of Shiloh Bible Camp’s summer program, as well as a variety of off-season activities and responsibilities. Oversee Shiloh’s finances, kitchen services, maintenance, rentals and safety. Work with the board in establishing and adhering to an annual budget. Ensure that Shiloh is in compliance with legal and governmental regulations. Find and maintain proper liability insurance coverages. Develop and maintain safety procedures for staff, campers and volunteers. Otherwise act in accordance with and enforce compliance to Shiloh Bible Camp’s policy manual. Qualifications

Have a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Meet the requirements for church leadership as described in the New Testament (1Timothy 3, Titus 1). Have a thorough knowledge of the Scriptures and be able to teach. Agree with Shiloh’s statement of faith for full-time staff. Have proven servant leadership and experience in Christian ministry. Have the ability to communicate comfortably A) publicly (in front of a crowd) B) personally C) electronically (email, social media, etc.) Have the ability to direct and facilitate groups of all sizes. Have the ability to work with and organize a variety of volunteers in a flexible manner with graciousness and discernment.
