Oversees all direct and indirect patient services provided by clinical staff. Provides clinical oversight, mentoring, and guidance to interdisciplinary team members. Assists with hiring, evaluation, and supervision of clinical personnel. Develops and maintains clinical policies and procedures that comply with federal and state regulations. Provides orientation and ongoing training to clinical staff; oversees in-service education. Maintains quality improvement initiatives, monitors performance indicators, and ensures compliance with the performance improvement program. Monitors and documents the patients condition, symptoms, and response to interventions. Communicates effectively with families, caregivers, and providers regarding goals of care and clinical updates. Participates in IDT meetings and care conferences. Qualifications
Active and unencumbered RN license in Rhode Island. Bachelors degree in nursing. Prior experience in hospice required. About Athena Health Care Systems
