We are partnered with a well-established heavy civil contractor seeking an experienced
Project Manager
to join their Portland team. This is a long-standing company with a strong reputation for delivering infrastructure projects across the Portland The Project Manager will oversee all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives are achieved. Key Responsibilities: Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources. Develop and maintain strong client, subcontractor, and supplier relationships. Oversee project teams, providing mentorship and leadership to engineers and field staff. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies. Handle change orders, RFIs, submittals, and cost controls. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in heavy civil construction. Proven track record managing projects $5M+. Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, scheduling, and cost controls. Ability to lead teams and build positive relationships with clients and partners. Proficiency in construction management software (HCSS, P6, or similar). Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
