Join our high-performing Global Banking team as a Senior Java Developer, where youll play a key role in designing, developing, and building a cutting-edge, end-to-end wealth management platform. Location: New York City - Hybrid role (at least 3 times per week) Responsibilities
Hands on Application developer role in Java/J2EE framework. Design and build high performance, high availability, scalable, distributed applications capable of supporting straight through processing of large amounts of data. Design large systems with modern enterprise architecture and design patterns. Interact with offshore development team for continuous design suggestions, development, and status updates. Mentor developers on design & development; perform code reviews and suggest best coding/design practices. Provide guidance to support teams on debugging application issues. Build and deploy applications across all environments; support QA, UAT and production users; conduct ongoing demos to UAT users and support teams. Qualifications
8 10 years of experience in application architecture, design and development. Proven experience in Wealth Management domain with understanding of industry-specific applications and workflows. Hands-on development experience with Java 8, Spring Framework, Python, and RESTful APIs in a microservices architecture. Proficient in Oracle/PL-SQL, with exposure to MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases. Must have Apache Kafka and Hazelcast Distributed Cache. Strong technical skills to handle complex architecture and design across scenarios. Gather requirements from Business Analysts and document technical approaches; develop enhancements, fix bugs, and resolve Oracle performance issues. Apply SDLC concepts for designing, coding, testing and implementing; integrate front-end modules with REST APIs; perform unit and snapshot testing of components. Education
Bachelors degree in computer science or related field. Preferred Skills

A reasonable estimate of the current range in the U.S. is $105,800.00 - $234,300.00. Compensation decisions are dependent on experience and other factors.
