Administration of the main contract in line with project requirements, including compliance with contract notification, certification, and response timeframes, tracking changes and monitoring each change through a change order process. Participate in regular project reviews to identify opportunities and risks to the projects contractual performance. Liaise with the project management team to resolve contract issues and facilitate negotiation of client contract terms and conditions. Ensure flow-down of prime contract requirements to subcontractors by reviewing, identifying, highlighting, and processing. Manage flow-downs across stakeholders through consistent communication and documentation. Develop strategies to manage risks and opportunities, and execute them with appropriate correspondence, record keeping, meetings, and proactive follow-up. Take the lead on contractual matters including contract compliance, change management, and claim mitigation strategies. Analyze the basis and extent of changes, track claims, monitor progress through the claims resolution process, assess merit/validity, manage disputes, and handle commercial interface/reporting with clients and other parties. Ensure contract management processes and procedures are in place to effectively control and manage relevant contracts. Ensure necessary bonds, warranties, insurances, undertakings, etc. are in the commercial interest of the company and in accordance with the contract. Challenge and negotiate claims and variations submitted by the Contractor and assess entitlement based on the Contract and applicable law. Own and proactively manage all commercial risks and mitigation on the project. Maintain contract-related documents and correspondence; provide internal and external contract-related issue resolution. Communicate contract-related information to all stakeholders. Monitor and complete contract close-out, extension, or renewal as appropriate. Negotiate final settlements on contract terms with clients and sub-contractors. Support management and bid teams to bring commercial knowledge and best practices into bid preparation, ensuring scope, conditions, payment terms, risks, and opportunities are effectively managed at bid stage. Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor Degree in Quantity Surveying/Engineering with suitable contractual, legal, or commercial background. Professional accreditation with a recognized international institute. 12+ years of post-qualification experience in a similar capacity. Demonstrable expertise in Contracts Administration for high-value EPC projects. Good knowledge and experience in FIDIC and other industry-standard contract types. Strong understanding of contracts/agreements: principles, theory, terminology, development, and practices. Understanding of contracts law with demonstrable experience. Experience in contract assessment and negotiations with strong negotiation skills and understanding of commercial impacts. Lead commercial management of potential project delays, variations, and resolution of conflicts with clients, suppliers, and contractors. Experience with claims management and arbitration support. Ethical, credible, and commercially astute; able to work independently and under pressure. Self-motivated, able to prioritize work with a target-oriented approach; able to work autonomously while regularly reviewing work to meet objectives. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to handle a heavy workload and work effectively within a team. Seniority level
