Data Analyst Forest Park, GA 30297 12 + months Pay Rate: $30.00/hr. - $38.57 /hr. Desired Qualifications 3-5 Years Acquires data from primary or secondary data sources and maintains databases/data systems. Filters and cleans data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems. Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns in complex data sets. Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports.
Preferred Experience/Skills
A degree in an analytical field is preferred. Some examples include, but are not limited to, finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering. 2+ years of experience in developing data manipulation scripts, Power BI dashboards, low-code applications, web applications, desktop applications, and / or internal adaptive web applications for generation and presentation of business performance metrics is highly desirable. Demonstrated experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Palantir Foundry. Experience with languages such as SQL, Python, and/or Spark is required. Knowledge of electric utility power transmission lines / substation engineering business and overall technical shared services knowledge or applicable relevant industry knowledge is a plus. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a natural curiosity and a desire to learn. Experience coordinating multiple requests and ensuring goals and objectives are met. Demonstrate organizational and planning skills. Experience manipulating large datasets and databases with working knowledge of big data and data management technologies, data management is a plus. Proficiency with standard business and analytics software (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel) is required. Experience with cloud computing platforms such as Azure is a plus.
