WSP in the U.S. This opportunity involves working on projects with the Federal Programs Team across our Tacoma, WA; Seattle, WA; or Jacksonville, FL offices. You will contribute to projects that meet client objectives and address challenges for Navy and NAVFAC programs. Your Impact

Preferred emphasis on AEP project delivery experience for the US Navy & NAVFAC. Lead design projects, conduct stakeholder interviews, perform existing conditions analyses, and deliver client-facing presentations and meetings as required. Manage the design process and provide high-value technical expertise for assigned projects. Coordinate with team members and disciplines (Clients, Site Managers, Mechanical/Electrical/Structural/Civil Engineers, Planning staff) for design program implementation; prepare and conduct design review workshops. Ensure adherence to Safety, Health, Environment, & Quality (SHEQ) requirements for all projects and aligned PMs. Collaborate with the WSP Federal Programs District Lead on Business Plan Forecast and accurate Project ETC forecasting. Ensure compliance with Quality policies, procedures, protocols, and use of mandated project tools. Review and approve proposal/project contract documents, risk and pricing. Drive the delivery of budgeted Net Revenue for a portfolio of projects; enhance Net Revenue through change management and high-quality, value-added client services. Review and approve Project Risk Register/Mitigation Plan, Project Execution Plan, and Project Quality Plan. Conduct monthly Operational Project Reviews and publish reports highlighting critical issues and actions. Participate in internal WSP Administrative Project Reviews as required. Review accuracy of Project Estimate at Completion and address variances with PMs. Monitor accounts receivable (AR) and unbilled revenue; collaborate with PMs to address issues. Ensure adherence to Contracts Quality Plan including client expectations, client satisfaction reviews, deliverable checks, and QC audits. Ensure PMs are staffed appropriately in collaboration with Operational/Group/Design Leaders. Manage, coach, and develop aligned PMs; provide resource loading and oversee talent engagement. Support career development of PMs through WSP Project Manager Training tools; ensure succession plans for key roles; coordinate hiring/terminations with others. Approve time and expense for aligned PMs; assist PMs and Client Sponsors/Leads/Managers with client management and satisfaction. Direct Reports Project Managers (eventually 4 to 5 PMs); may serve as PM on some projects as well. Review documents across design phases for design intent, materials, and coordination; perform quality checks and respond to client comments for multiple disciplines. Supervise and mentor junior team members. Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds and resources; adhere to WSPs Code of Conduct and related policies. Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs. Who You Are

Required Qualifications

Bachelors in Civil Engineering or Architecture, or equivalent. 10+ years of experience proposing, negotiating fees, and delivering Architectural & Engineering planning, design, and construction-phase oversight on US DoD IDIQ contracts (NAVFAC IDIQ experience preferred). 5+ years of experience in Architecture, Civil, or Structural Engineering. PE or RA registration. U.S. Citizenship required. Ability to obtain a U.S. Government issued Secret level security clearance. Experience managing US Navy/NAVFAC and/or USACE/DoD projects. In-depth understanding of national and local codes and the ability to analyze and implement building and zoning codes and agency requirements and design standards. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop). Strong negotiation, representation, and stakeholder liaison abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work efficiently and independently within budget and schedule to produce high-quality deliverables. Relocation assistance may be available. Preferred Qualifications
