Horrocks . Location: Salt Lake City, UT | Department: Transportation | Compensation: $100,000 - $130,000 / year Responsibilities
Design, evaluate, and analyze highway/railroad/pedestrian bridges and other transportation structures Prepare designs, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and specifications Work with bridge staff to deliver PS&E contract documents on time and within project budget for local agencies, federal agencies and state DOTs Perform or check bridge designs using CSi Bridge, MIDAS, VBent, PG Super, LEAP, BRASS, Mathcad, and/or other bridge software Design or check retaining walls and other structural components in support of roadway or site civil projects Assist in building a strong regional presence for the firm in transportation and structural engineering Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies
B.S. degree in Civil Engineering Registered PE license 4 to 8 years of experience Willingness to work on projects locally or in workshare with other offices, some travel required ( Experience working in bridge design teams is a plus Design Build and Alternative Delivery experience is a plus Solid understanding of transportation projects Why this job
