Position: QA Analyst Duration: 1 year Location: Boca Raton, FL (Onsite from Day 1) Local candidate of FL only General Characteristics
Responsible for developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications. Involved in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation and test execution. Creating and maintaining automation framework. Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status. Collects and analyzes data for software process evaluation and improvements and integrates them into business processes to address business needs. Documents all problems and assists in their resolution. Delivers quality process training to technical staff and acts as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partners. Performs quality audits across IT functions to ensure quality standards, procedures and methodologies are being followed. Create and write automated test cases for web and mobile. Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar, or equivalent work experience. Experience: a minimum of 3 years of systems development, automation testing and/or business experience. 5-7 years of testing experience with backend database testing and test automation. Solid understanding of SQL. Clear understanding of web services and web applications. Experience with Web and Mobile automation. Minimum of 2 years of experience testing web services. Minimum 1 year experience with Playwright or similar tools. Experience with QA automation tools (e.g., SmartBear ReadyAPI, LoadUI, TestComplete, BitBar, Selenium WebDriver). Good understanding of Groovy/Java scripting and clear understanding of OOP. Comfortable in creating and executing automated test scripts via Jenkins and directly via testing tool if needed. Ability to read and write automation test scripts. Understanding of Maven or Gradle, and experience creating and managing jobs in Jenkins. Experience with Power BI is preferred. Experience with cloud testing (Azure) is preferred. Responsibilities
Update automation test framework. Collaborate with developers to resolve product glitches or design issues. Maintain attention to detail and act as a problem solver. Maintain existing automation test framework. Execute test plans according to project priorities. Create test strategy documents and test cases.
