Senior Data Analyst/BI Developer
Our client, a software product company in the asset management space, is seeking a Data Analyst. This is a senior level, permanent/direct hire position. The employee will work a hybrid schedule, 3 days a week in the office ideally. Their office is located in Glen Allen/Richmond, VA.

Collect, process, and clean data from various sources using SQL Will use BI tools to form and understand key business trends, issues and opportunities Develop scalable analytical solutions such as tables, datasets, models and dashboards Conduct Ad-hoc analysis that helps the business better understand key value drivers and growth opportunities Effectively communicate actionable insights across all levels to help clients experience cost savings Work closely with cross-functional partners, including sales, operations and data team to drive analytical initiatives to completion Required Skills/Certifications
BA/BS degree in math, statistics, engineering, computer science or other quantitative major 2-5+ years of experience in a BI/analytics/operations role with strong cross-functional business collaboration Ability to write very complex SQL queries. Knowledge of Sales and CRM tools like Salesforce Proficient in one or more programming language (Python, Java) Experience in BI visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. Self-starter attitude: You're someone who can initiate and drive complex analysis to completion with minimal guidance and then synthesize and communicate insights Get-it-done mindset: You're motivated to work hard and efficiently in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment.
