Claims Job Summary
Responsible for utilizing our Risk Management Information System (RMIS), Origami Risk, to create reports and conduct useful trend analysis of insurance program and loss data for client and Claim Consulting Services Department. Principal Responsibilities
Collects loss data from various sources including insurance carriers and third party administrators. Combines, cleanses and maps data into Excel for uploading into the RMIS system. Clears exceptions and validates data for accuracy. Conducts trend analysis to identify loss drivers and develop key performance indicators for clients. Creates loss summaries and reports for use by the client, Claim Consultant and the Conner Strong & Buckelew Account Team in preparation for that clients renewal or other client meetings. Maintains overall system to support all Analyst activities based on overall Client Claim Service Plans. Other Functions
Proactively identifies process improvements and efficiencies Updates their various Loss Analysis Unit calendars and tracking systems. Provides back-up to other Analysts who are unavailable due to PTO, etc Other duties assigned. Requirements
Associates Degree required or equivalent experience with High School diploma Minimum 3 years experience in the Insurance industry preferably in Claims or Loss Control setting dealing with data manipulation and trending. Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite specifically Excel Experience working in RMIS systems utilizing SSIS is preferable Must be able to manipulate data and conduct in depth data analysis Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently Must be organized and detail-oriented and possess a positive attitude Must possess excellent analytical skills and problem solving skills Must have the ability to meet deadlines, be flexible and work outside of normal work day Excellent oral and written communication skills Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without Company sponsorship. Specialized Knowledge or Licenses
Valid Property & Casualty License, not necessary, but preferred Certificates of Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, not necessary, but preferred Experience working in RMIS systems utilizing SSIS, not necessary, but preferable Working Conditions
Office environment with moderate noise level; able to work flexible hours and travel to other Conner Strong & Buckelew offices and client work sites on a regular basis. EEO Statement
