Network Engineer E4
IDR is seeking a Network Engineer E4 to join one of our top clients in Colorado Springs, CO. Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Network Engineer E4: Collaborate with our client's team to design, develop, and test network systems. Utilize your expertise in the OSI Model, TCP/IP, and routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF. Conduct network traffic analysis, diagnostics, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance. Manage and configure firewalls, including Juniper, Fortinet, and Palo Alto. Engage in the implementation of multi-vendor switching and routing, WAN optimization, and optical transport equipment. Required Skills for Network Engineer E4: Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience, with 5+ years of professional experience. Proficiency in network design and testing methodologies. Strong knowledge of UDP multicast, SONET, MSPP, VLANs, GRE Tunnels, and TCP/IP network designs. Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Visio. U.S. Citizenship and Top Secret clearance required. What's in it for you?
