Overview
IT Network Manager - Yankton or Sioux Falls First Dakota National Bank, with total assets exceeding $2.5 billion and a banking team of 350+ professionals across 17+ locations, is seeking an IT Network Manager to oversee and enhance the Banks IT communication systems, including Cisco networking, VoIP technologies, and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will manage IT communication projects, ensuring solutions align with business objectives, are cost-effective, and meet regulatory standards. Hours are MondayFriday, 8:00am5:00pm (with after-hours monitoring and support). Key Responsibilities
Network Administration: Manage and maintain Cisco networking infrastructure (routers, switches, wireless controllers, firewalls); ensure network security, reliability, and scalability across all Bank locations; monitor network performance and implement improvements; provide technical support for Cisco networking equipment. System Administration: Assist in managing VMware solutions; assist with Windows Server and Linux-based virtual appliances; monitor system performance and implement improvements as needed. VoIP Systems Management: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot VoIP systems for seamless organizational communication; integrate VoIP with existing infrastructure and ensure regulatory/com industry standards compliance; assist in providing technical support and improvements as needed. Cloud Solutions: Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based systems aligned with the Banks needs; optimize for scalability, security, and cost-efficiency; collaborate with vendors to ensure reliable and secure cloud integrations/services. Project Management: Plan and execute IT projects, delivering on time and within budget; define scope, milestones, and deliverables; coordinate with cross-functional teams and conduct risk assessments with mitigation strategies. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure IT communication systems comply with regulatory and industry standards; maintain accurate documentation of configurations, processes, procedures, and updates. Training and Support: Provide staff training on IT communication tools; assist with IT help desk tickets and escalate as necessary. Education/Experience
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in IT communication systems, networking, or similar roles. Key Skills
Cisco Networking: Configuring and managing Cisco routers, switches, wireless controllers, and firewalls. VoIP Technologies: Experience with VoIP platforms, call center systems, and troubleshooting. Cloud Solutions: Proficiency in deploying and managing cloud-based systems (e.g., AWS, Azure). Project Management: Ability to manage IT projects from conception to delivery. Technical Proficiency: TCP/IP, SIP, QoS, ACL, MPLS, SD-WAN, VPN, network security best practices. Problem-Solving: Analytical and troubleshooting skills. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication, ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in banking or financial services. Knowledge of ITIL practices. Familiarity with financial institution compliance requirements. Industry certifications are a plus (e.g., CCNA or CCNP; PMP or similar). Experience in Active Directory/EntraID, SSO, MFA, iOS/macOS management, ticketing systems, Microsoft Office/O365, and Windows solutions. Other Requirements
Valid drivers license. Live within 3045 minutes of the Yankton or Sioux Falls area. On-call support/monitoring rotation during non-bank hours; some onsite duties outside regular hours. Personal Skills
