In a nutshell: The reliable, organized, ambitious person supporting the team in the day-to-day. A sponge, happily soaking up processes to serve the agency and clients excellently. Hard R&Rs Own the client relationship. Maintain all communication with client via email, Slack, calls, Zoom meetings, etc. Manage the SOW. Stay within scope, maintain the margin, and deliver on what we promise. Know the brand book better than anyone else. Gain a deep understanding of client objectives, brand identity, and target audience to develop strategic, results-driven experiential activations. Serve as project manager internally developing and sharing task tracking, creative decks, etc., working cross-functionally. Responsible for overall project well-being. Growth mining and identifying opportunities and bringing them to manager to close. Soft R&Rs Cross Functional: Work across departments to understand how they support the clients needs and how account management sits at the center of that process. Learn the clients business: industry, lines of business, and products; share valuable insights with the team. Develop and present relevant competitive news. Build client relationships: respond to emails promptly; be a reliable voice on status calls and a resource for tactical project needs. Create internal relationships: build your own brand and be a reliable resource across departments and leadership. Master internal processes/software: Google Drive, Slack, etc. Be the organization: maintain files and processes; manage version control and ensure decks are up to date and properly stored in drive and client share systems. Be detail-minded: keep status documents and timelines current; flag timeline issues and propose solutions. Communicate effectively: write clear, actionable emails and tailor communication to different audiences. Manage up: keep leadership informed and know when to escalate. Adapt and stay positive: handle curves and contingencies; look for opportunities in challenges. Operate with hospitality: be generous, solve problems, and maintain service-oriented mindset.
