We are seeking a skilled
Traveling Project Manager
with experience in
ground-up multifamily or student housing construction . This role oversees all phases of construction at job sites across the U.S., ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. Travel to project sites for extended periods is required. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day operations on active job sites from mobilization through closeout. Lead and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, site superintendents, and internal teams. Develop, maintain, and report on project schedules and budgets. Ensure compliance with design documents, building codes, and safety standards. Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, inspectors, and vendors. Oversee procurement, change orders, RFI tracking, and quality control. Conduct site visits, team meetings, and ensure project milestones are met. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in
multifamily, hotels, or student housing construction
(wood frame, podium, or mid-rise preferred). Proven ability to manage projects in multiple states with extended on-site presence. Strong working knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, permitting, and closeout. Proficiency with construction software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam). Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. OSHA 30 certification preferred. Bachelors degree in Construction Management or related field is a plus. Willing and able to travel 100% and stay on-site as needed.
