Sr. Software Engineer (EDI) - IBM Sterling B2Bi Cincinnati, OH (Onsite Mon Thu) | 6-12 Month Contract-to-Hire Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (No sponsorship) We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer (EDI) with strong expertise in IBM Sterling B2Bi and enterprise-scale system development. In this role, you will design, implement, and support EDI solutions, lead technical initiatives, and ensure high-quality, scalable, and secure integrations. Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise EDI solutions. Lead development efforts, mentor team members, and drive best practices. Integrate with middleware (IBM MQ, APIGEE, Kafka) and communication protocols (AS2, SFTP). Build and maintain high-performing, secure, and compliant systems. Collaborate with onshore/offshore teams and business stakeholders. Must-Have Skills
5+ years in software/infrastructure development and technical leadership. Strong expertise in EDI standards, compliance, and IBM Sterling B2Bi. Knowledge of EDI formats (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, XSLT, XPath, BPML). Experience with IBM DataPower, middleware integrations, and web technologies (Java, Spring Boot, Angular, SOAP/REST). Solid foundation in OO design, design patterns, unit testing, CI/CD, and automation. Nice-to-Have
Cloud experience (Azure, Google Cloud Platform), elastic architectures. System architecture knowledge. FSMA compliance exposure. Seniority level
