Software Engineer V . This is a
12+ months contract
opportunity with long-term potential and is located in
Owings Mills, MD (Hybrid) . Job ID: 25-82626 Base pay range : $80.00/hr - $85.00/hr Pay Range : $80 - $85/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location). Key Responsibilities
Hybrid work location: Owings Mills, MD (onsite required as needed) No relocation candidates will be considered; only local candidates required Team consists of 3 engineers & technical product owners Implementing strategic technical product Working on a technology product used across multiple platforms Introduce new features and manage lifecycle of change, support, and enhancements Address items to be implemented in this product Work with AWS cloud, Docker/containerization, and microservices Most work will be on the backend and involves building solutions Strong problem-solving skills are required Scrum process followed Perform requirements gathering, document specifications, and develop software solutions to meet client needs Analyze enhancement requests and specifications; implement system software and customize to client requirements Prepare detailed software specifications and test plans; code new programs and create test data Modify existing programs to new standards and conduct unit testing Create migration packages for system testing, user testing, and implementation Perform post-implementation validation and resolve bugs found during testing Key Requirements and Technology Experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related technical field required 10+ years of experience Solid foundation in computer science with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design Experience with large systems software design and development Experience with in-depth troubleshooting and unit testing for both new and legacy production systems Proficiency in programming and problem diagnosis/resolution Our client is a leading
