Overview
Role: Lead MuleSoft Developer Duration: Long Term Contract Work Type & Location: Hartford, CT-06106 - Hybrid NOTE: No sponsorship is available for this role and we need local candidates Hartford, CT. Responsibilities Participate in SDLC processes including requirements verification, design and development, testing, maintenance, and support activities per the direction of agency management. Support the New Enterprise Child Welfare System applications and all MuleSoft interfaces; participate in the SDLC process of the new SACWIS system and work with the System Integrator to ensure transfer of knowledge and ongoing maintenance of the solution for a given module. Maintain interfaces and Salesforce applications and support SOA integration initiatives; participate in meetings with the System Integrator and verify deliverables (requirements, design, testing, environment configuration). Design and development of API solutions. Perform MuleSoft programming and support for importing or exporting files. Provide production support for MuleSoft processes in the production environment. Provide analysis and requirements to integrate applications. Work on all phases of SDLC and create/maintain required technical documentation. Assist in QA planning related to data exchange processes. Assist in migration and integration of data and processes from legacy systems to new applications and technologies. Assist in developing information systems blueprints, design patterns, and templates for best-in-class software development and to promote reuse and migration toward SOA. Deliver business and technical value and collaborate with the Application Development Manager on goals and code reviews. Contribute to design and architecture decisions, provide input on estimates and resource planning. Provide guidance and training to team members. Be very organized, proactive, and self-directed. Be a self-starter and drive work from requirements to implementation. Demonstrate strong abstract thinking and problem-solving skills. Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
Required Skills And Experience
10+ years of professional experience with MuleSoft (5+ years of MuleSoft experience required). Strong understanding of SOA (10+ years). Strong understanding of MuleSoft and Salesforce (5+ years); MuleSoft experience required for interview. MuleSoft deployment best practices. Experience with source control/versioning (Team Foundation, Microsoft DevOps). Object-oriented design principles and design patterns. Proficient in XSLT. Working programming knowledge of C#, JavaScript, Java, WCF, jQuery, XML, JSON, Web API, SOAP, .NET, and JavaScript. Integration experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, WCF). Create enterprise development standards for SOA services. Proficient in polling mechanisms and SQL-to-XML queries for SQL Server and DB2.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Azure Service Bus Proficient in database development using SQL Server; creation of database objects including tables, views, stored procedures and functions
