Warehouse Technician / Driver Mills James is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented **Warehouse Technician / Driver** to support our fast-paced Live Events operations. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with a talented team that delivers exceptional event production services across Ohio, the Midwest, and beyond.
Key Responsibilities - Order Preparation & Delivery:** Accurately prepare, stage, and load equipment for scheduled deliveries and pickups. - Driving Duties:** Operate company vehicles, including box trucks, to transport audiovisual equipment locally and regionally. Occasional long-distance travel within the continental U.S. may be required. - Inventory Control:** Assist with receiving, stocking, and managing inventory with a high degree of accuracy. Notify team leads of any equipment maintenance or repair needs. - Warehouse Operations:** Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. - Workplace Safety & Cleanliness:** Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse space. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. - Customer Service & Team Support:** Represent Mills James professionally on job sites and provide friendly, solution-oriented service to clients and colleagues.
Qualifications - Experience:** Minimum of 1-2 years of warehouse, logistics, or equipment handling experience. Experience with audiovisual equipment is a strong plus. - Licensing:** Valid driver's license required. Must be able and willing to obtain a Medical Card and a Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Applicants with a current CDL are strongly preferred. - Physical Requirements:** Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform manual labor in varying environmental conditions. - Schedule Flexibility:** Availability to work variable shifts, including early mornings, late nights, and occasional weekends, based on event schedules. - Work Ethic:** Highly dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
