Overview
Our client, a leading international investment bank based in New York, is seeking a skilled
Business Analyst
to support the
implementation of TRACE regulatory reporting . The ideal candidate will have proven experience in regulatory reporting projects, particularly related to
FINRAs TRACE (Trade Reporting and Compliance Engine)
requirements. Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams for the successful implementation of TRACE reporting. Analyze and document business requirements related to fixed income trade reporting (e.g., corporate bonds, agency debt, asset-backed securities). Coordinate with compliance, operations, and technology teams to ensure accurate and timely TRACE submissions. Review and validate trade flows to identify reporting gaps or inconsistencies. Define functional specifications for data mapping, transformation, and enrichment as required by TRACE. Participate in end-to-end testing: define test cases, validate results, and support remediation efforts. Monitor post-implementation performance and ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory changes. Support internal and external audit requests related to TRACE reporting. Requirements
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in investment banking or capital markets. Prior involvement in
TRACE implementation or enhancement projects
is mandatory. Solid understanding of fixed income products and U.S. regulatory requirements (FINRA, SEC). Experience with trade lifecycle, data lineage, and regulatory reporting platforms. Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills. Solid understanding of the bond trade lifecycle. Familiarity with SQL or data analysis tools is a plus. Knowledge of other regulatory reporting frameworks (e.g., CAT, MIFID II, CFTC) is a bonus. Seniority level
