Overview
Cohere is seeking specialized engineering expertise for an Android CNO Developer position. Applicants should demonstrate in depth experience with both Linux and Android tool development, including the Android Kernel. As an Android CNO Developer, you develop capabilities in support of operations. Your primary focus will be developing tools that work in both user and kernel space. You will play a crucial role in developing custom capabilities used on live systems and supporting national security interests. This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance. Qualifications / Requirements
Candidates should have experience coding in C/C++ and Python, including understanding Object Oriented Programming, Networking (sockets), Multithreading, and implementing cryptographic protocols for data at rest and data in transit. Exploitation In-depth knowledge of a wide range of techniques including stack and heap attacks such as buffer overflows, off by one vulnerabilities, memory leaks, and format string attacks; understanding how to bypass protections like DEP and ASLR. Reverse Engineering experience with debugging and disassembly tools; understanding of assembly constructs and calling conventions; binary diffing is a plus. Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to clearly explain complex techniques to teammates; experience as a Subject Matter Expert. Experience with version control and CI/CD tools (preferably git or gitlab). Willingness to be mentored and to mentor promising candidates to develop essential skills and abilities. Responsibilities
Develop tools for Android CNO across user and kernel space to support operations. Contribute to the development of custom capabilities used on live systems. Collaborate with team members to apply secure coding practices and to solve hard engineering challenges. Compensation & Benefits
