Database Administrator (DBA)
to manage and maintain our database systems, ensuring their availability, performance, and security. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in database management, problem-solving skills, and a passion for optimizing database operations. Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain database management systems (DBMS) such as Oracle, or SQL Server. Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies to optimize efficiency. Ensure data integrity, security, and availability through regular backups and disaster recovery plans. Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database schemas and data models. Write and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures. Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner. Implement and maintain database security policies to protect sensitive information. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in database management. Qualifications
Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. At least 12 years of experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role. Proficiency in database management systems such as Oracle, or SQL Server. Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with query optimization. Familiarity with database backup and recovery tools and techniques. Understanding of data security and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud database services (e.g., Azure SQL Database, Snowflake). Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB). Knowledge of database automation and monitoring tools. Location: Dallas, TX #J-18808-Ljbffr
