The SDET role specializes in development of capabilities and code to automate testing of the product or system under test. You will be part of a business-aligned development squad that specializes in building, enhancing and maintaining custom software and solutions supporting the business. Your Primary Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute automated tests to ensure the quality of software products As a squad member, work to understand software requirements Design, develop and maintain automated tests that validate the functionality As a squad member, work to identify and resolve defects and improve the overall software testing process Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes Diagnose and remediate software defects Stay current with new software testing methodologies, tools, and technologies Understand and apply industry-specific best practices & standards Establish level of expertise in the business areas, systems and platforms being supported Responsible for system integration testing, including automation, of newly developed or enhanced applications Responsible for reviewing requirements and design artifacts, developing unit, integration and system test cases, ensuring extensive test coverage for our applications Understand and articulate the business and the value adds Play an active role in translating business and functional requirements into concrete results Responsible for project coordination and technical management tasks Note: The primary responsibilities are not limited to the details above. Qualifications
Proven minimum 6-8 years of experience with automated unit and integration testing Bachelors degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field Talents Needed For Success
Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc., and with CI/CD technologies (e.g., CloudBees, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Cucumber, Git, Jira) Extensive experience with testing modern scripting language-based components Strong experience with automated testing and test-driven development Knowledge of smoke testing, black-box and non-black-box testing, and regression testing Knowledge of software testing methodologies and techniques, including unit, integration, and functional testing Hands-on with backend test automation using Rest Assured/Karate for API testing; JDBC/JPA for database testing (Oracle/DB2/Snowflake) Experience in software development Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, C#, etc.) Knowledge of databases and SQL; experience in writing sophisticated SQL queries Experience in Agile/Waterfall, onsite/offshore work model and coordination Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong teamwork and collaboration skills We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity.
