A well-designed and secure network is critical to move data and enable the Department of Defense (DoD) to achieve their mission, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their evolving needs? Crafting the right network, with the right equipment and software, requires a combination of technical skill and careful planning. Thats why we need a network engineer like you who knows how to craft the exact network the DoD needs. Location and Work Model

Location: Fort Meade, MD, US. Remote Work: Hybrid. Note: The posting includes references to job number R0225420 and other locations (e.g., McLean, Virginia, USA). You Have

10+ years of experience with commercial hardware and networks 7+ years of experience providing implementation and engineering support for DoD enterprise networks 4+ years of experience with F5 LTMs Experienced deploying, upgrading, and troubleshooting multivendor network and security equipment and solutions, including Cisco, Juniper, Dell, HPE, or VMware Experience documenting complex network and security systems and procedures to implement and troubleshoot such systems Experience developing and executing test and implementation plans based on requirements, and working with network-based Thales Hardware Security Modules Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel, be detail-oriented, and multitask and prioritize Secret clearance HS diploma or GED DoD 8570-compliant Certification such as Security+ Certification Nice If You Have

Experience working in federal cloud environments such as Azure and AWS Bachelors degree in Information Systems or a related field Cisco Certifications Clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. Compensation

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by location and the individuals education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date. Identity Statement
