Overview
As a Python Developer focused on banking and financial services, with a strong foundation in DevOps, you will design, develop, and maintain applications supporting core banking systems, financial products, risk management, and data analytics platforms. You will work with cross-functional teams to automate processes, optimize deployment pipelines, and implement scripting solutions for operational efficiency. Develop and maintain Python-based applications and tools for banking operations, products, risk management, and analytics. Write scripts and automation tools to streamline deployment, monitoring, and operational tasks. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. Optimize existing code for performance, scalability, and automation. Implement and support DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation. Integrate with data sources, APIs, and third-party services relevant to banking operations. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including testing, deployment, and support. Stay current with industry trends, DevOps best practices, and emerging technologies in banking and financial services. Requirements
5+ years of Python development experience, ideally within banking or broader financial services. Strong understanding of banking operations, trade surveillance, products, compliance, audit, or risk management. Experience scripting and automating tasks to improve operational workflows. Knowledge of DevOps fundamentals, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure automation. Familiarity with data analysis libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy) and API integrations. Proficiency with SQL, MongoDB, Neo4j, and database systems. Experience with version control systems (Git) and automation tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams. Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or related field. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with other programming languages (e.g., Java, C++). Knowledge of financial products, banking software systems, or regulatory requirements. Prior experience working in hybrid or remote environments. Compensation and Benefits
