This Marketing Communications Co-op position will work with the Avionics Smart Manufacturing team in the Cedar Rapids, IA facility. This position is for a Marketing student interested in learning internal marketing and visualization design principles. If selected, the employee will work directly with Smart Manufacturing leadership and engineers to become familiar with Industry 4.0 technologies and state of the art manufacturing techniques used to improve the production process. Responsibilities Responsible for the development and execution of internal marketing strategies and campaigns. Manages digital communications, including video marketing, and the production and dissemination of technical publications. Design, develop and implement communication programs. Provide support to Marketing in conceptualizing and designing graphic representations of products and creative campaigns. Conduct research, gather and organize information to inform and support advertising campaigns. Analyze preliminary and final proofs; corrects errors, where needed, to ensure consistent design integrity.

You will learn how to utilizes a variety of media and communication channels including print, digital / electronic. You will learn about the IIOT (Industrial Internet of Things) and how it is used to optimize existing manufacturing processes. You will learn how to communicate and work with a variety of departments, growing your communication and marketing skills. You will learn how new manufacturing support tools are created and deployed.

Qualifications You Must Have

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelors or advanced degree in an applicable discipline. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Salary range: 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including role, function, location, education, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, and parental leave.
