SAP ECC 6.0 ABAP Developer (Open to Remote) Are you a passionate SAP ABAP Software Engineer looking to make a significant impact in the publishing industry? Join Penguin Random House as a Software Engineer and be part of a team that is shaping the future of reading. Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality SAP ABAP solutions within SAP ECC 6.0. Engage in hands-on SAP ABAP development, including dialogue programming, SAP Forms/SAP Script, ALV reporting, IDOC processing, and use of function modules, RFCs, BAPIs, and web services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement technology solutions. Qualifications
Have 4 - 5 years of recent and relevant experience in SAP ABAP development. Have a deep understanding of SAP ECC 6.0 and the AR, AP, SD, FI, and MM modules. Are primarily software engineers with a strong focus on coding and technical implementation. Are problem-solvers and team players who can design, develop, and maintain high-quality technology solutions with cross-functional teams. What we are not seeking
Primarily SAP consultants or analysts without a strong hands-on software development focus. Limited or no recent experience in SAP ABAP development. Experience limited to S/4 HANA only or not having worked on SAP ECC in the last 4 to 5 years. Roles primarily in consulting or advisory capacity. Location and Schedule
The role is remote-eligible and will operate on Eastern Timezone. Compensation
Salary range: $100,000 - $125,000. All positions are eligible for annual profit award or bonus, subject to Company results. Application
