Senior Network Engineer role at SolutionHealth. The Senior Network Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the security, performance, and reliability of the healthcare system’s network infrastructure. This position designs, implements, and maintains enterprise-grade network systems that support clinical and administrative operations across hospitals, clinics, and remote locations. Hybrid/remote with occasional on-site support at hospitals, clinics, or data centers. Participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation. Occasional travel may be required to support remote or regional locations. Must live locally, Manchester NH and Nashua NH. What You’ll Do
Administers, maintains, and evolves next-generation networking technologies in alignment with IT strategy and enterprise architecture standards Conducts proactive lifecycle maintenance of network infrastructure—including firmware updates, software-defined networking (SDN) policy updates, patching, and cloud-managed service integration Troubleshoots and resolves advanced, multi-layer network issues involving routing, switching, wireless, VPN, and cloud connectivity across hybrid and remote environments Designs, configures, and supports network platforms including Cisco Catalyst/Nexus, Meraki (cloud-managed), Aruba, Palo Alto NGFWs, and Check Point security gateways Leads or co-leads enterprise infrastructure projects such as cloud connectivity, SD-WAN deployments, network segmentation, and zero trust architecture rollouts Who You Are
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, related field, or equivalent combination of education, Required Licensure/certification:
Certified Healthcare Technology Specialist (CHTS, Preferred), Cisco CCNP or higher (e.g., CCIE) Preferred, Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), Preferred Experience:
A minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience, with a focus on complex, high-availability environments. Deep technical knowledge in routing/switching (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), VPNs, wireless and firewalls, Required. Why You’ll Love Us
