Salary: $70,000 + Depends on Experience

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee and manage commercial painting projects for new construction developments and projects. This role involves coordinating with contractors, managing project timelines and budgets, ensuring quality control, and maintaining compliance with safety and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, effective communication skills, a deep understanding of painting processes, and experience in managing large-scale projects. The ideal candidate will need to be a proactive problem solver with a knack for planning for the future of the project to ensure everything runs smoothly. Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, and budget, in collaboration with clients, general contractors and subcontractors.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing project updates, change orders and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project finances, including expenses, hours, and material costs, to ensure projects remain within budgetary constraints.
  • Resource Allocation: Coordinate the allocation of resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to optimize project efficiency and productivity.
  • Team Supervision: Lead and supervise painting crews, ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety protocols, and BCP quality standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections to assess workmanship quality and compliance with project scope of work, making adjustments as necessary to ensure high-quality results.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identifying potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or budgets and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports, and provide regular updates to clients using the BCP software applications.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards, and address any non-compliance issues promptly.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements, implementing best practices to optimize project outcomes and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of construction management is required!
  • A college degree in Construction Management is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Problem solving experience.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, as well as Google Workspace.
  • Knowledge of construction regulations, codes, and safety standards.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve project goals.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
