Chantilly, VA Overview
Design and implement scalable and highly available cloud-based infrastructure using AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and Elastic Load Balancer Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment of applications Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters using tools such as kubectl and Helm to deploy and manage containerized applications Design and implement Docker-based containerization solutions to ensure efficient and secure deployment of applications Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud-based services and applications Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud-based infrastructure and applications Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical systems Stay up to date with the latest cloud computing technologies, tools, and best practices Coordinate with various Mission Partners and team members across the program, supporting capabilities across the Enterprise Support Enterprise Information Technology initiatives and services across all Mission environments This position does not require shift work but may involve scheduled on-call support and occasional off-hour assignments Qualifications
7+ years of direct experience in an applicable field At least 5 years of experience in Linux system administration, with a focus on cloud-based infrastructure Security+ or DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification, or the ability to obtain within 3 months of hire In-depth knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, and Elastic Load Balancer Strong experience with Ansible, including playbook development and automation Experience with Kubernetes, including cluster management and deployment of containerized applications Experience with Docker, including containerization and orchestration Strong understanding of Linux operating systems, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Amazon Linux Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git Nice To Have
Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Artifactory Experience managing work tasks via ServiceNow Knowledge of cloud-based security best practices and compliance requirements Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and/or Splunk Certification in AWS, Ansible, or Kubernetes Benefits
