Develop customer engagement strategies in partnership with Account Executives in your designated territory. Coach junior Solutions Architects and teams on use case prioritization and building technical champions. Influence stakeholders at all levels through complex engagements with the wider cloud ecosystem and third-party applications, aligning with the Databricks vision and solution strategy. Act as an expert solution architect and trusted advisor for significant data analytics architecture, design, and adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. Contribute to Databricks' technical community engagement by developing customer-facing collateral and leading workshops, seminars, and meet-ups. Opportunities to develop in one of four tracks: technical specialization, industry vertical thought leadership, strategic customer vision, and people management. What We Look For / Qualifications
7+ years of presales/customer-facing technical experience. Experience engaging in complex customer interactions and sales lifecycle in a technical pre-sales capacity. Ability to influence decision-makers and C-level gaming executives by building relationships and coordinating teams for long-term customer success. Prior experience with coding in a core programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Scala) and willingness to learn Spark at a base level. Hands-on experience with complex proofs-of-concept and public cloud platforms. Ability to provide technical solutions for specialized gaming customer needs and navigate a competitive landscape. Available to travel up to 30% when needed. Pay Range Transparency
Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is Zone 1:
