Lead a team of software engineers in the design, development, and implementation of multiple applications. Perform and lead detailed technical design, coding, code review and testing of new applications and enhancements of existing applications. Serve as a subject matter expert for specified systems and their subsequent applications. Develop and/or analyze interface design documentation. Comply with hardware and software systems standards and procedures. Deliver large systems for tens of thousands of users. Ensure compliance with dev/sec/ops practices and policies. Understand architectural practices and design. Identify gaps in requirements and solve problems for the supporting staff. Identify sequencing of services and technologies integrated in later project phases. Lead the evaluation of risk and opportunity impacts to existing or proposed projects/programs and implement risk mitigation actions. Develop ways to improve performance and increase system availability. Provide recommendations to infuse new technology. Compile, assess, and report data results from software testing and analysis. Support the Project Manager as the technical team lead on the project. Estimate technical costs of projects for clients and project managers. Confer with clients to identify requirements and determine desired outcomes to formulate the system design or alternatives. Demonstrate experience with front-end and back-end programming and integration frameworks and tools. Assist in estimating development of application features. Lead software design and development teams. Identify, analyze, define, and coordinate user, customer, and stakeholder needs and translate them into technical requirements. Manage technical resources (hardware, software, licenses, and services). Plan and lead transformation initiatives to new software architectures. Extend open-source libraries and systems as necessary to meet team needs. Play a crucial role in product scoping and roadmap/architecture discussions. Continually evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends, and best practices. Ensure code quality, deployment standards and practices. Mentor junior developers. Qualifications

Education Level:

Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience. Experience:

8 years Software design and development, software test and evaluation, software requirements management. Knowledge, Skills And Abilities (KSAs) Experience and Expertise in Informatica PowerCenter and ETL technologies. Design, develop and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica and ETL cloud-based tools. API Integration, JMS / Queue is preferred. EDI Processing - experience with healthcare EDI data processing is preferred. Healthcare domain knowledge; ITS claims and Facets experience would be an advantage. Works with Architects, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Value Stream Managers to deliver business value and meet objectives. Decomposes functional and technical requirements into project activities and tasks; provides conceptual design, prototype, and test cycles for selected solutions. Identifies technical risks and develops mitigation strategies; introduces industry best practices and standards. Evaluates and assists in selection/procurement of hardware and software technologies; mentors junior developers. Defines constraints and develops requirements and concept of operations documentation with stakeholders. Knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure). Knowledge of database technologies (cloud, SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, etc.). Fundamental knowledge of SDLC, agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines; TDD/BDD awareness. Strong experience with Deployment/CI/CD/CT/CD tools and processes. Experience deploying a global application and configuration management. Reviewing the work of other developers and providing feedback. Ability to communicate technical requirements to all levels of expertise; effective stakeholder collaboration. Proficient in SDLC and integrating complex systems. Programming languages: JavaScript, Java, Python, etc.; knowledge of Microservices and APIs. IBM MQ and mainframe (AS400) knowledge a plus. Healthcare domain knowledge with ITS claims processing familiarity a plus. Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple customer-facing demands with positive service mindset. Salary

Range: $113,256 - $204,939 Other details
