Cerula Care is the first digital health company focused on providing integrated behavioral health (BH) services to people living with cancer. The Collaborative Care Model is an evidence-based clinical model that has been shown to improve mild to moderate behavioral health needs. Our care team adds a Health Coach to enhance the traditional CoCM care team, with the goal of improving members behavioral health above and beyond traditional CoCM models. Responsibilities
Work across the stack to design, develop, and maintain web applications for both internal and external users. Collaborate with clinical, product, and data teams to turn complex workflows into elegant user experiences. Own features end-to-end: from backend APIs and data models to frontend UI and performance. Guide architecture decisions and contribute to system design for scalability and security. Continuously improve code quality, testing, documentation, and CI/CD practices. Tech Stack

History of delivering end-to-end features in full-stack applications. Experience building products from concept to production in a fast-paced environment. Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, clinical, and business teams. Experience owning architectural decisions and driving technical direction. Track record of working in agile environments with rapid iteration and feedback cycles. Hands-on experience in environments where security, compliance, and data privacy are critical (healthcare a plus). Who You Are And How You Work
5+ years of professional experience building full-stack applications in production environments. Fluency in modern backend frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, Django) and frontend frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue). Strong experience with SQL databases, especially PostgreSQL. Proficiency in API design, system design, and performance optimization. Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and CI/CD pipelines. Product-oriented mindset - you're excited to build for real-world users and iterate quickly. Comfortable working in a lean, fast-paced, and mission-driven environment. Experience in healthcare, digital health, or data-heavy domains is a plus. What you bring to this role
Deep knowledge of Python (FastAPI preferred) and modern frontend frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue). Strong SQL and database schema design experience with PostgreSQL. Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform preferred). Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party services. Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks. Ability to translate complex workflows into intuitive, performant UIs. Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, mentoring mindset. Role details
